| Dear Charles, We have been using Aberfile as our studio management system
since January 1998. We recently added the Digital Sales Room to our operating
system. You have done a great job creating a software specific to the needs
of a photography studio. The greatest thing about Aberfile is your technical
support. You have always been available to answer our questions and to solve
problems to keep Aberfile running smoothly. Studios who are new to computers
will have a great friend helping them with Charles Abernathy. Aberfile does
an incredible job of keeping track of our customers in the studio from the
time they enter the front door until the finished portraits are delivered.
We use Aberfile to enter customer data at the time the session is scheduled,
to give us a call sheet the day before the sessions to do confirmations,
to print a schedule for the photographers, to write up orders in the sales
rooms and to keep track of orders going and coming from the lab. From a marketing
standpoint, we go into our customer data base and make selection by certain
criteria and create mailing labels. We are able to generate reports that
help us manage the studio better and know what is really going on with the
business. We have Digital Sales Room set up with a digital projector in our
main sales room with a scanner attached. The images look as good as conventional
slides. The greatest thing is our ability to project images 30 x40 down to
5 x 7 with the click of a button which we can see on our computer monitor.
Digital Sales Room is truly a revolutionary achievement in our industry.
We are able to show different frames projected around a favorite image with
just one projector. Abersoftware has been a leader in bringing studio
photographers into the computer and digital world of photography.

| We've used Abersoft's Studio Manager, Aberfile for 14 years and it handles
our entire studio, it does EVERYTHING! Invoicing, statements, scheduling,
sales reports, bank deposits, mailing list, wedding album design and ordering
(with the Album Arranger option) ....everything!
Plus, the newest thing is DIGITAL SALES ROOM where it is a digital viewer, slide show, package printer, and order pad. When the DSR is used with Aberfile2000 you may include Thumbnail Images of the poses ordered on your clients printed Invoice. | Our studio has used Abersoft from the DOS days until we converted to
the Windows version and new computers a couple of years ago. We find the
software easy to use on our studio network of four computers. We complete
labels in our workroom. At the end of the day, we run a take-in sheet to
make our bank deposit with. My wife doesn't like fooling with computers,
but she enjoys how quickly she can enter the order information from a customer
when she is taking their order.
Charles Abernathy, who writes the software, is good to work with when you have a problem. There are features of the software that we should probably be using, such as the appointment schedule. Since I haven't tried the other software programs, I can't compare them to Abersoft... but the program has worked nicely for us. Several years ago I was trying to decide between Abersoft and another popular program. When I called the other developer with a question about the demo program disk he sent me, he was rude and wouldn't answer my question. That's when I decided to use Abersoft.
