Aberfile is a Windows program and is compatable with: Windows 3.1 through Windows VISTA Aberfile will also run on your Mac. with Windows environment software like Virtual PC.

| 1> Download the AF7-DEMO.EXE file into a FOLDER in
your computer
named "AFSETUP" on your C:\ drive. You may download the AF7-Demo.exe file into another folder, then create the afsetup folder and copy the down loaded file into your afsetup folder. PLEASE NOTE: THE INSTALL PROGRAM REQUIRES THAT THE "AF7-DEMO.EXE" FILE MUST BE IN A FOLDER NAMED "AFSETUP" ON YOUR COMPUTERS C DRIVE. THIS FOLDER MUST NOT BE IN ANOTHER FOLDER BUT DIRECTLY ON C DRIVE, I.e., "C:\AFSETUP\AF7-DEMO.EXE" 2> In Windows Explorer navigate to C:\AFSETUP\ and Dbl Click the AF7-Demo.EXE file to extract the setup files. 3> A> Find the file: "Installc.bat" and Dbl Click it. OR B>At the Windows RUN prompt (click Start button, click Run on menu) type: C:\AFSETUP\INSTALLC then click OK ( please note the C at the end of installC ) The nessary folders will be created and the nessary files copied into them. Aberfile 2007 will be installed in a folder on drive C named Afile07. 4> To RUN the ABERFILE demo at the Windows RUN prompt type: C:\Afile07\Afile07 then click OK. Click the [Client] button at the lower left of the Aberfile start up window. The Client window will open, this is where all client information is entered. Click the [Help] buttion for addittional instructions. |
